Behind the Lens: A Black & White Portrait Series


During my time at NSCC Professional Photography, I set out on a journey across Nova Scotia to capture the essence of photographers and videographers through my lens. Drawing inspiration from the iconic style of Platon and the timeless elegance of black-and-white photography, I sought to go beyond simply portraying these individuals. I aimed to reveal the stories and creative energy that drive their work. This series is a tribute to the artists behind the camera, emphasizing the raw, often unspoken narratives of their craft. Each portrait freezes a fleeting moment in time, inviting a deeper connection to the minds and passions that shape the visual stories we experience.
