Zack Daigle: Beyond the Algorithm
I'm a Canadian photo and video creator with a background that doesn't follow the usual script. After over a decade serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, I traded in tactical gear for a camera, using it to process trauma, explore identity, and reconnect with the world around me.
Now studying film at NSCAD and trained in professional photography at NSCC, I work at the intersection of visual storytelling, personal truth, and raw human experience. My brand — Beyond the Algorithm — is a rejection of generic, mass-produced content. It’s about creating images and films that hit deeper, that linger, that challenge.
Whether I’m shooting in the forests of Nova Scotia or building documentaries rooted in lived experience, my work is driven by purpose: to tell stories that matter and to make art that feels like it’s lived a life.
